Going Astray

Human beings are the strangest creatures; ever so often when we are in the midst of something, in the midst of a task, it is so easy and common for us to lose perspective and to just get caught up in the doing of the task.

We forget the ‘why’ of it. Not only does this fuel the obscurity and complexity of what we do, we lose our way in the middle of it, we lose purpose and intention.

It’s ‘strange’ because that shouldn’t be that way, we weren’t made to get confused and lost. God created us to always have a road, a path to follow through which is led by Him and Him alone.

If we diverge in why we do what we do; the work of God; we’re going to pave a whole new road and that is not the road leading to the heart of God. Our sole purpose here on earth, is to chase after the heart of God; His will; His purpose; what He wants.

So always keep check. Recall and remember what we do, why we do it and always keep check at the intention of our hearts. If things go astray, call upon God to guide us back, His star always shines for us to be guided. Don’t lose focus, God never leaves us, nor forsake us.
