I Think We Have An Emergency

I think we have an emergency
I think we have an emergency
If you thought I'd leave then you were wrong
Because I won't stop holding on

So are you listening?
So are you watching me?
If you thought I'd leave then you were wrong
Because I won't stop holding on
This is an emergency
So are you listening?

And I can't pretend that I don't see this
It's really not your fault
And no one cares to talk about it
To talk about it

Cause' I've seen love die way too many times
When it deserved to be alive
I've seen you cry way too many times
When you deserved to be alive
Alive...

So you give up every chance you get
Just to feel new again
I think we have an emergency
I think we have an emergency

And you do your best to show me love
But you don't know what love is
So are you listening?
So are you watching me?

Well I can't pretend that I don't see this
It's really not your fault
And no one cares to talk about it
To talk about it

(The scars they will not fade away)
And no one cares to talk about it
To talk about it
Cause' I've seen love die way too many times
When it deserved to be alive
I've seen you cry way too many times
When you deserved to be alive
Alive...
(Alive...)

Make Me

When Jesus calls us into covenant, He’s not calling us just to give us stuff; There’s Something Deeper-an underline purpose at hand

I love listening to podcasts; especially ones from Judah Smith; he’s truly a phenomenal man of God and (as corny as this sounds) he changes so much inside of me each time I listen to him. Really, the talent that God has placed in him is incredible, I’m so happy that he’s using it all for His glory-teaches me and inspires me to live out my life wholly and completely for God.
Anyway, there was this one message that truly captured me-titled, ‘Make Me’. I caught a lot from the message, so here are a couple of points. I really don’t want to butcher it by planting in my own words, so I’m leaving it in point form. Read it, Understand it. Digest it, and Act On It.

Matthew 4:18-20
As Jesus was walking beside the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Simon called Peter and his brother Andrew. They were casting a net into the lake, for they were fishermen."Come, follow me," Jesus said, "and I will make you fishers of men." At once they left their nets and followed him.

Jesus Is Here To Shape Us

Before God has any aspirations of giving us anything, He has a preordained plan to shape us

If you don’t want to be made, then don’t follow

When Jesus said the word 'Will'--> no discussion, no debate—either you follow and get made, or you stay behind...

Luke 15: 11-20
1Jesus continued: "There was a man who had two sons. 1The younger one said to his father, 'Father, give me my share of the estate.' So he divided his property between them.
"Not long after that, the younger son got together all he had, set off for a distant country and there squandered his wealth in wild living. After he had spent everything, there was a severe famine in that whole country, and he began to be in need. So he went and hired himself out to a citizen of that country, who sent him to his fields to feed pigs. He longed to fill his stomach with the pods that the pigs were eating, but no one gave him anything.
"When he came to his senses, he said, 'How many of my father's hired men have food to spare, and here I am starving to death! I will set out and go back to my father and say to him: Father, I have sinned against heaven and against you. I am no longer worthy to be called your son; make me like one of your hired men.'So he got up and went to his father.

We will never be able to do what God is asking us to do as long as you have the ‘give me’ attitude["Father give me my share of the estate"]

We should be saying, "I’m not here for what you can just give me, I’m Here For What You Can Make Me,”

The context of discipleship is not ‘give me’, it’s ‘make me’

Discipleship is not the choice of the leader, it’s the choice of the follower

Give Me--> Add Make Me--> Abide

This is not a democracy, this is a dictatorship called the Kingdom of God

God will Give You once you say-“Make Me”

Many a time God does not give us a burden because we don’t have the attitude to carry it

I think sometimes people just don’t like being slapped on the face, cause it hurts. But, most times, a slap on the face is the one thing we’re all missing in our lives. I learnt a lot from this message, and I hope you did too.

Compelled

Matthew 25:35-40 (The Message)
"Then the King will say to those on his right, 'Enter, you who are blessed by my Father! Take what's coming to you in this kingdom. It's been ready for you since the world's foundation. And here's why:

I was hungry and you fed me,
I was thirsty and you gave me a drink,
I was homeless and you gave me a room,
I was shivering and you gave me clothes,
I was sick and you stopped to visit,
I was in prison and you came to me.'
"Then those 'sheep' are going to say, 'Master, what are you talking about? When did we ever see you hungry and feed you, thirsty and give you a drink? And when did we ever see you sick or in prison and come to you?'

Then the King will say, 'I'm telling the solemn truth:
Whenever you did one of these things to someone overlooked or ignored,
that was me--
you did it to me.'

One random day on the streets on Calcutta, a well-to-do business man noticed an elderly lady sitting by the road side mending the wounds of a leper. He went up to her and told her, “I wouldn’t do what you are doing now for a million dollars”. “Neither would I,” she replied. “I am only doing this for 5 words-‘You Did It for Me’”. This woman was Mother Teresa.

2 Corinthians 5 (NIV)
If we are out of our mind, it is for the sake of God; if we are in our right mind,it is for you.

For Christ's love compels us,
because we are convinced
that one died for all, and therefore all died.
And he died for all,
that those who live should no longer live for themselves
but for him who died for them and was raised again.

My Stupid Question

Why did they have to be so damn talented?? Why did God have to just build them up to be such phenomenal men and women?? Seriously! And what’s worse is that, I relate to them so much; I love their music, their worship, the songs, everything...It kills me sometimes that I’m not with them.
The raw talent that they possess is just ridiculous, and their heart for God inspires me beyond anything. What I love most is how united they all are. They illustrate the meaning of ‘family’ so well, it’s just sick...haha.
I love them so much it frustrates me.

Sometimes as I’m lying on my bed praying for the lost, broken and hurting to be saved, I quickly sneak in my own request which is to end up down under at that church, haha!

Some one save me...

What actually matters is that these people exemplify the grace and power of God undoubtly.
They’re amazing people, (even though I have no idea who they are) from their worship I believe they are remarkable people.
And they teach me, each and every time I hear or see them, to chase after the heart of God, and do whatever it takes it to please God.
They’ve such a heart for the people of this world and have posses such a focus for the vision and purpose of God.
I thank God that I have had the profound privilege of knowing about them and obtaining any piece of material that involves them. They push and pull me through every time things are difficult in my life, and turn my perspective back to the things that truly matters.
I love them, from the bottom of my heart, I do. And, I really thank God for making such incredible people.

They’ve made such a mark in this world and in my life.

Think About It

It's your love, it's your love

It's your love that has
saved me

It's your blood, it's your blood

It's your blood that has
claimed me
(click me,please)
I'm captured every time I hear these words, because it's so beautiful;and so true.
It's captures me every time I think about it. I'm litreally brought to tears because This Is My Cry to God.
So speechless&expression-less sometimes, when I have so much stirred up inside of me but have no way to communicate it, I just say those words and everything that is within me is let out.
Just think about it.
The definition of each line
Really let it sink into you.
Something will happen, inside of you
I promise...

The Reminder

Acts 20:22-24 (The Message)

22-24"But there is another urgency before me now. I feel compelled to go to Jerusalem. I'm completely in the dark about what will happen when I get there. I do know that it won't be any picnic, for the Holy Spirit has let me know repeatedly and clearly that there are hard times and imprisonment ahead.
But that matters little. What matters most to me is to finish what God started: the job the Master Jesus gave me of letting everyone I meet know all about this incredibly extravagant generosity of God.
28"Now it's up to you. Be on your toes—both for yourselves and your congregation of sheep. The Holy Spirit has put you in charge of these people—God's people they are—to guard and protect them. God himself thought they were worth dying for.

Isaiah 58:6-9 (New King James Version)

6 “ Is this not the fast that I have chosen:

To loose the bonds of wickedness,

To undo the heavy burdens,

To let the oppressed go free,

And that you break every yoke?

7 Is it not to share your bread with the hungry,

And that you bring to your house

the poor who are cast out;

When you see the naked, that you cover him,

And not hide yourself from your own flesh?
8 Then your light shall break forth like the morning,

Your healing shall spring forth speedily,

And your righteousness shall go before you;

The glory of the LORD shall be your rear guard.

9 Then you shall call, and the LORD will answer;

You shall cry, and He will say, ‘Here I am.’

Psalm 30:11-12 (The Message)

You did it: you changed wild lament

into whirling dance;

You ripped off my black mourning band

and decked me with wildflowers.

I'm about to burst with song;

I can't keep quiet about you.

God, my God,

I can't thank you enough.

Let The Flames Begin

What a shame we all became,
such fragile broken things,
A memory remains,
Just a tiny spark,
I give it all my oxygen,
to let the flames begin,
So let the flames begin,
Ohhhh Glory
Ohh Glory!

This is, how we'll dance when, when they try to take us down,
This is what we'll be ohh glory.

Somewhere weakness is our strength,
And i'll die searching for it,
I can't let myself regret, such selfishness
My pain I know the trouble caused, no matter how long,
I believe that there's hope, buried beneath it all, and,
hiding beneath it all and, growing beneath it all and...

This is, how we'll dance when,
They try to take us down, This is how we'll sing out
This is how we'll stand when, when they burn our houses down,
This is what we'll be
Oh Glory!

Reaching as I sink down into life.

Reaching as I sink down into life.

This is, how we dance when, when they try to take us down,
This is how we'll sing out.
This is, how we'll stand when, when they burn our houses down,
This is what we'll be Oh Glory!

Oh Father, Oh Father

Well I am ready, wont You let it begin
Cause I Am Here Now,

I want to dance,

In the Mighty Palm of Your Hand

Resonable

Dear God,

It is only reasonable.
I’m here because You set the bar. You set the mark, the standard, and I’m only living by it.

I care so deeply about You. I love You beyond anything I could have ever imagined and the burden You have birthed in my heart is nothing short of immense.

You compel me like no one else. You move me, touch me, inspire me, and motivate me like none other. I really feel so unlike the person I assume myself to be when I’m around You, even when I just think about You.

What You’ve done for me, is just beyond comparison. I can never come remotely close to giving You back what You gave me. But, I will say with every second of my life on gravity, that I’m grateful; though that may not do much, I’ll still say it; Thank You. And, again with every other second of breath I have, I live it For You. Because it is only logical; only reasonable; and You Deserve It.

“I beseech you therefore brethren by the mercies of God that you present your bodies as a living sacrifice holy and acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service,”

Romans 12:11

My Heart

I am finding out that maybe

I was wrong

That I've fallen down and

I can't do this alone

Stay with me, this is what I need, please?

Sing us a song and we'll sing it back to you

We could sing our own but what would it be without you?

I am nothing now and it's been so long

Since I've heard the sound, the sound of my only hope

This time I will be listening.

Sing us a song and we'll sing it back to you

We could sing our own but what would it be without you?

This heart, it beats, beats for only you

This heart, it beats, beats for only you

This heart, it beats, beats for only you

My heart is yours

This heart, it beats, beats for only you

My heart is yours(My heart, it beats for you)

This heart, it beats, beats for only you(It beats, beats for only you)

My heart is yours (My heart is yours)

This heart, it beats, beats for only you (Please don't go now, please don't fade away)

My heart, my heart is yours (Please don't go now, please don't fade away)

My heart is...

The Everyday Life

In everything I do, I trust that God is always there to take care of me, I am NOT alone.

If I call, He will answer.

I am held at the palm of His hands, and His will for me is to be fulfilled, not by myself, but through Him, I am Never alone.

God is not man that He should lie.

Often we are tired; tired because there’s so much to do, so much to accomplish in our everyday lives, and tired because it never seems to end, it’s just ongoing. But, with our everyday lives, God has called us to build our relationship with Him, to have it expand, and as we learn from infant to adult how to develop, we learn so much more of the world we live in and its inhabitants by clinging on to God. This was never a solo walk that we are supposed to endure, God created us so that we could know Him, before we spend forever with Him. How are you to live with someone you’ve never known (worse reject him)?? This is my time, our time, to know The Wonder that created you and me, put us here on gravity and gave us life, so that we can experience so much and live to claim loud and proud that the only reason we live and breathe is God.

“So here is what I want to do, God helping you:Take your everyday, ordinary life-your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking around life-and place it before God as an offering. Embracing what God does for you is the best thing you can do for Him,”
Romans 12:1

Going Astray

Human beings are the strangest creatures; ever so often when we are in the midst of something, in the midst of a task, it is so easy and common for us to lose perspective and to just get caught up in the doing of the task.

We forget the ‘why’ of it. Not only does this fuel the obscurity and complexity of what we do, we lose our way in the middle of it, we lose purpose and intention.

It’s ‘strange’ because that shouldn’t be that way, we weren’t made to get confused and lost. God created us to always have a road, a path to follow through which is led by Him and Him alone.

If we diverge in why we do what we do; the work of God; we’re going to pave a whole new road and that is not the road leading to the heart of God. Our sole purpose here on earth, is to chase after the heart of God; His will; His purpose; what He wants.

So always keep check. Recall and remember what we do, why we do it and always keep check at the intention of our hearts. If things go astray, call upon God to guide us back, His star always shines for us to be guided. Don’t lose focus, God never leaves us, nor forsake us.

You Are What Starts The Difference

No matter who you are no matter what you’ve got going on in your life, always remember that God has placed a calling and purpose for you, you were born, made, designed and called to
Make A Difference.
That weighs something, it carries importance because you are the influence, and you are what starts the difference.

Matthew 5:13-16
“13You are the salt of the earth, but if salt has lost its taste (its strength, its quality), how can its saltness be restored? It is not good for anything any longer but to be thrown out and trodden underfoot by men.
14You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden.
15Nor do men light a lamp and put it under a peck measure, but on a lampstand, and it gives light to all in the house.
16Let your light so shine before men that they may see your [
z]moral excellence and your praiseworthy, noble, and good deeds and [aa]recognize and honor and praise and glorify your Father Who is in heaven.”

Do Not ignore what God has called you to do
Don’t walk away, or delay it...if it’s a Now job, do it NOW!
He poured out everything He had for you, so He could spend eternity with you, Dont let it go to waste, (leave it in vain)...
Take what you have in your hands, lift it up to Him, and start this wonderful relationship with Him, today, this very second...
